Description:
Select two artists and appropriate 1-3 collections of their works for a final installation piece.
I chose the Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron and Pop artist Andy Warhol.
Media: Photography, Photoshop, screen-printing, acrylic glazes and fabric pins on found circular charts.
Both screenprint and glaze color choices are based on the SMPTE television test pattern: White, yellow, cyan, green, magenta (a bitch to make with acrylic paint!), red, and blue.
Outcome: “A lot of happy accidents and an A+ for good marks.”
