Music: “Deliverance Finance” - recorded in 1996 or 1997

The production sucks and the sound levels are low. I recorded most of these songs in the production studio at the radio station where I worked after college. I’d fuzz out the 3-string acoustic guitar by spiking the mic levels, then record the vocal tracks either on to quarter-inch reel-to-reel tape (sigh, i miss those days) or directly onto the computer via Arrakis’ Trackstar (the DOS version of early Cakewalk, probably extinct by now). The reverb effect was what happened when you turned up the input on the computer and the output on the tape at the same time.

As soon as I figure out how to downsize a 27MB file to the 10MB dictated by tumblr, I’ll post some of the old, dated and obnoxious radio editorials I used to make. So you’ve been warned and all.

(p.s. this song was about my old job in radio sales, but applies much more to my old porno job.)
